Obligatory Snow Video

Winter Impressions. It was nice and cold. My friend Hannes filmed this in Hallein, Austria. The *ähhhm* artistic editing is my work.

Short video

Uhh I'm excited! I finally managed to create my first HD video clip. Just a very short one though, about a boat trip through the Oslofjord. At least there are some animals in that 'film'.
I'll make some more, as soon as I get the charger for my camcorder back. Unfortunately it is in Salzburg at the moment :(

You can compare this with a non HD video:

Yet, this is quite good quality!

This is Hildur by the way, some Icelandic celloist.

This one here is pretty poor quality:

Seabear at Sódóma, Reykjavík, Menningarnótt 2010.

Teenage bloggers questionnaire evaluation

I spent my whole evening making graphs yesterday. Then I tried to properly arrange them in Word 2007, still don't really know how to do that best.
Just thought I should post the statistics, for anyone who`s interested. What I liked most, was the fact that the blogging community is quite friendly and most bloggers did not receive negative comments and those who did, often ignored them. See, all you over-worried teachers and parents, your child is not very likely to hang itself because of cyberstalking. Yet, one guy and a girl reported cyberstalking, and again they ignored it. Just make use of the delete button and don't waste your time with offensive and rude comments that are anonymous anyway. (in most cases)
Also today's teenagers often see themselves as technichal experts and they even know how to type HTML! Wow, I'm impressed, we never learned that at school, Germany is very old fashioned anyway, they rather teach Latin! than ICT.

Ok here are the graphs:

43 teenagers (there were two late comers, I'm sorry)f rom 11 different countries replied by the way. Aged 13-23 (<- they looked really young!)

Source: my own statistics, make with Create a Graph.

Hmm, just notices that some of the text is a little bit small, well I can't be bothered to change that.

Good afternoon to everyone

Yesterday, I wanted to post my beautifully wrapped parcels  with Deutsche Post and they complained about 28gr too much for the cheapest price category, so I hav to pay quite a lot. I asked them about the packaging, if I could put it into a bigger, but lighter bag, or just wrap it up in paper. 'No, we're sorry, the big bag, is too big; that would also be the next expensive price category and parcels that are just wrapped in paper have to be oblong.'
Well, I payed, because I had already sold the stuff on e-bay and it would have been extremely IMPOSSIBLE to ask for an extra-extra packaging price. I didn't lose any money, however I didn't gain as much as I'd have expected either.
Today I'm going to sell more things on e-bay. I've dug deep into my wardrobe and found a few branded clothes I don't wear anymore. I think I can aslk for more money this time.
Besides from these annoying news, I'm pretty satisfied with yesterday; I did everything on my checklist. And I got to more responses from young male bloggers, from Denmark of course, they're the nicest. Therefore, I'll link them now:

I started making graphs with all the data I've collected so far. Designing a chart is very simple, really. I'm horrible at maths, but I found something very useful on the interent. It's actually a homepage for school children, the tool helps them with their presentations, essays whatever and I recommend that page to anyone who quickly needs to do statistics and has no mathematicla understanding, or is too impatient to learn about it. Here's the website: Create a Graph
Also, I have 37 answers already! Yay, I'm going to stop this thing as soon as I have 40.

Ok, what else is going on? This Saturday I've got a riding lesson again (after ca. 2 months!) We hardly ever go, because I need a lift (imagine I'll be 23 soon and I haven't got a driving license) And the girl who usually takes me, recently moved to Munich and her boss always changes the work schedule. So, the only days in the week that we both have time is Saturday and Sunday, but there are no lessons on Sundays. Moreover, recently we had to cancell our lessons a few times, because our organisation does not work at all: she answers her e-mail bloody late and another time she signed me up for a lesson and only told me afterwards, unfortunatelly I didn't have time then.
But the most upsetting thing about this riding business are the  owners of the horse farm itself: they are extremely rude and impatient and they treat their customers very unfriendly. I really don't feel like going there any longer, but the problem is that we could only by a card with ten lessons and we still need 5 I think. But now comes the best part: The owner said that our lessons will expire! And we need to come in 8 days in a row, if we want to keep up this hobby! Hello, what sort of an idiot is he? I wonder if he's like that to everone, or only to two 22 year old girls, who just do this occasionaly! We don't intend to become professionals, why do they care what we learn? This is just a meaningless, voluntary little hobby. AHHHHHHHHHHHH, I HATE them!!!

I need to calm down with a nice song:
It's the new Fleet Foxes single, unfortunatelly their album won't be released before May :(

Enjoy and have a nice day!

Dinner's ready!

Here they are my lovely quiches:

The crust is not as well-shaped as the one in the image, but I'm a beginner in quiche-making.
Also, I left out the bacon, because I don't eat meat.

Now it's time for the Linguistics essay...
